#Second Niger Bridge's Link Roads Awarded To Julius Berger

The Federal Executive Council of Nigeria on Wednesday awarded to Julius Berger a contract worth of N206bn, for the construction of link roads to Second Niger Bridge.

These roads are meant to link the Second Niger Bridge to some part of the country on both the Asaba and Onitsha ends. The total kilometer to be covered by the link roads' contract is 12km, and it is meant to be completed in 42 months time (from the time it is started).

This was made known through the official twitter handle of the Presidency. The tweet reads, "the Federal Executive Council (FEC) today approved the award of the contract for the construction of Link Roads to the Second Niger Bridge (on both the Asaba & Onitsha ends, totaling about 12km) to Julius Berger, for N206 billion, with a 42-month completion period". #FECBrief

Legendary Nigerian reggae artiste Ukeleke Onwubuya, better known by his stage name ‘Ras Kimono’, has died.                 Ras Kimono   According to Vanguardngr.com, Nigerian music legend, Ras Kimono is dead. He died on Sunday 10th June aged 60.
